These plates are legal for SCCA Production, Street Prepared, and also legal for BMWCCA Prepared classes.
Camber and caster are independently adjustable by sliding the mounts, without removing any components from the car. The priority of this design is to allow fast, repeatable alignment changes at the track.
Camber range: 6mm positive, 24mm negative, 30mm total.
Caster range: 22mm positive.
Installation Notes: Torque camber plate mounting nuts to 18ft/lbs using properly calibrated torque wrench. DO NOT USE PNEUMATIC TOOLS.The Positives of Negative Camber

Whether you are new to performance driving and looking to improve your skills behind the wheel, or an experienced racer, Race plates provide a broad-enough range of camber and caster adjustment to ensure your alignment settings are ideal for any track or race environment. Ultimately, Race plates are best suited for drivers who prioritize performance and a direct steering response over all else. Like all components engineered to maximize performance, the genetic makeup of race camber plates may induce noise audible in the cabin. This is similar to the decision many people face when choosing between OEM flexible rubber bushings or solid polyurethane. Most customers prefer the adjustability and solid design of the race plates, and are happy with the trade-off.
You'll need coilovers to run these plates as they are not compatible with OEM style springs. You can select from 60mm, 2.25" and 2.5" spring perches to accommodate most any coilover kit on the market.
If you enjoy your car predominantly on the street and you're sensitive to any extra noise, consider the Ground Control Street Camber Plates for BMW E9X M3 or Ground Control Street Camber Plates for BMW E9X Non-M & E82/E88 1 Series. The Street plates will provide a moderate adjustment range of camber and caster adjustments without the noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) that may be introduced with Race plates.Why Ground Control?
Ground Control has been building world-class street, autocross/track, and full road race suspension setups since the 1980s. From camber plates and adjusters, to complete bolt-on coilover kits, Ground Control has designed and built setups for hundreds of different chassis and applications. All Ground Control camber plates feature a proprietary bearing, made to their specs by Aurora in the USA, which allows for articulation of the shock shaft. These spherical bearings are very understressed, as the Ground Control design does NOT support the weight of the car on the spherical bearing. Instead, the weight of the car is supported by a completely separate articulating needle bearing, which is also manufactured for Ground Control in the USA.
